Throughout the year, we make certain pastries special for each holiday or occasion and only available during that time. In every item description is given the availability of each of those special pastries. We recommend you ordering your specialty items a week or two before the holiday to ensure availability.

Seasonal Pastries

Beignets
Deep-fried choux pastry filled with Vanilla Mousse and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Available a few weeks before and after Fat Tuesday / Mardi Gras / Lent.

Chocolate Yule Logs
Chocolate sponge cake rolled with Chocolate Mousse and covered with Fudge icing. Available only for Christmas.

Grape Kuchen
Round coffee cake made with sweet dough and fresh Concord Grapes (with seeds). Available in late Summer.

Irish Soda Bread
A sweet, dense bread made with buttermilk, baking soda, raisins and caraway seeds. Available for St. Patrick’s Day.

Paczki (filled doughnuts)
A sweet, deep-fried doughnut filled with jelly or mousses and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Paczki (pronounced ‘pohn-ch-key’) meaning “little packages,” is a traditional Polish pastry. Available only for Paczki Day (Fat Tuesday − the day before Lent).

Pastiera (Rice Pudding Pie)
A sweet pudding pie made with rice and Anise flavor. A traditional Italian pie available only for Easter.

Potica Nut Roll
Potica (pronounced po-teet-sah) is a Slovenian Nut Roll with a rich, nut filling and baked in square pans. Available for Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Special Order.

Pumpkin Roll
A pumpkin cake roll filled with cream cheese icing. Available during all holidays and year-round.
